''Imam aubergines" refers to Imam Bayildi, a classic and widely popular dish in Ottoman cuisine consisting of whole aubergines (eggplants) stuffed with a savoury mixture of onions, garlic, and tomatoes, then simmered in olive oil and topped with feta cheese. Serves 5.
How to Use:
In a conventional oven:
a) Place the product directly from the freezer to a preheated oven at 180°C (max) for about 40-50 minutes OR
b) Thaw product at storage temperature (5°C) about 10-12 hours and heat the product in a preheated oven at 180°C (max) for about 30 - 40 minutes.
Can be heated in a microwave: indicatively, a serving for 5-6 minutes at 900 watt. Time may vary depending on the oven and its settings.
