Smyrneika soutzoukakia are traditional Greek oblong meatballs from Smyrna that are lightly fried and then simmered in a rich, velvety tomato sauce seasoned with garlic and warm spices—primarily cumin and cinnamon. This aromatic comfort food is typically served over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.
How to Use:
Place the frozen meal, without defrosting it, in a preheated oven at 200°C and cook for 40 minutes. Remove the lid after 20 minutes and continue cooking until the temperature in the centre of the food reaches 75°C. The time may vary depending on the oven and its settings. Serves 8.
